For your convenience, we have also listed the steps for this process below the video.
To modify a test on the canvas
- On the execution page, in the toolbar above the live browser, click View on canvas. The canvas opens, displaying test steps in two columns: the test step logic on the left and the corresponding data on the right.
- To modify data for a test step:
- Click the respective step. This puts the field on the right in edit mode.
- Change the data as needed.
- On the toolbar at the top right, click Save.
- To add a new step:
- Select the step preceding or following the new step you want to add, and then click Add step.
- From the list of actions, select the appropriate action, such as User Action > Keyboard Input. For a list of available actions, see Action categories.
- When prompted, provide the required information for the new step. In the case of keyboard input, this is the name of the field.
