Set notifications for a job

You can configure email notifications to be sent to a specific distribution list and at specific intervals.

To configure email notifications:

1. In the Jobs view, click the job for which you want to configure notifications.
2. In the left pane, select Notifications.
3. Turn on the Send me notifications option.
4. At the top right, click Edit Configurations to make the dialog box writable.
5. From the Notification channel list, select a channel or select Add new channel (you may need to scroll down).
6. If you add a new channel, in the Add notification channel dialog box, enter a channel name and the email addresses of the recipients. Then click CREATE.
7. If you added a new channel, select it from the Notification channel list.
8. Select an execution trigger:
   • Manual to start the execution yourself from the UI
   • Scheduled to trigger it at a specific day and time
   • CI/CD to trigger it through the build machine
9. Specify if you want to receive notifications on any severity level or only on a specific level, such as Critical or High and up.
10. (Optional) Add a description of this notification policy.
11. (Optional) To receive all variables with notifications after execution, select the Attach context variable to notification checkbox.
12. Click Save.
