Transfer a file
On an open device, you can transfer files from the device memory or SD card to the Perfecto repository, or vice versa; download files from the device memory or SD card to the local computer; upload files from a computer to the device memory or SD card; delete files from the device memory or SD card, or from the repository; search for files in the repository; and look up the locator of files in the repository.
Watch this short video to see how it works. Detailed instructions follow.
Important: File access works slightly differently on iOS devices, where each application has its own space, or sandbox, that other apps cannot access. Application developers can allow access to their sandbox from a computer, but this is not mandatory. As a result, not all applications are listed in the File Transfer dialog box, and not all folders listed in the dialog box may be accessed on the open device.
Restriction: Due to hardening restrictions, file transfer is not supported in the public cloud. For more information, see Hardening restrictions.
