After installing the UFT Plug In for Perfecto and starting UFT, you are suddenly faced with this error.
The ICSharpCode files are critical parts of the HP UFT file system, which are not able to be reached.
This issue is caused by the security settings set by your IT/Security teams on your local computer. This causes a significant difference between admin and regular users. What you are experiencing is the possibility of a "Windows Virtual Store" service. This is a Windows feature that allows regular users to "Virtually" override administrator protected files. If this feature is turned on, Windows creates a "virtual store" for the non-admin user. This is typically under c:\users\<username>\Appdata\local\Virtual Store\. Under this path, you will find a parallel path to the UFT installation. EX: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\HP\Unified Functional Testing
Please first look into that directory on your local computer and verify if there are files in this directory. These will force an override on the Perfecto UFT plug in, which causes a problem with the ICSharpCode.
- Deleting the MobileCloud folder from the Virtual Store solves the issue
- Also, overriding the MobileCloud.Addin file with the new MobileCloud.Addin file to the Virtual Store path solves it.
