An Android device fails to install application applications after many successful installations and the following error is received:Get error 'INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE' during application installation.

Uninstalling applications does not help. Rebooting the device may temporarily resolve this issue. 


Factory reset the device. 



When you install and uninstall applications on our your automatic tests - Android android assigns a UID number to each application. The numbers are between range from 10000 to 19999. When you uninstall an app, Android does not releasing release the numbers when we uninstall an app which is the bug. After . Therefore, after 9999 installations (and removals) - , there are no more numbers to allocate and the next application installation fails to install.


. In addition, extra folders are left behind.
