Perfecto smart reporting automatically categorize your executions under primary status and secondary failure reasons
Primary status can be Passed, Failed, Blocked or Unknown. Failure reasons gives you more detailed reasoning about the "Why it failed?". Clicking on one of the primary status figures will add the secondary distribution of failure reasons as seen below.
The list is sorted by quantity, so you can easily review and handle the main reasons for your failures.
Note that there are different failures reasons under Failed and under Blocked.
Clicking on a specific failure reason, will filter the reports list to only include this failure reason. In the below examples:
- Clicking on FAILED → APPLICATION CRASHED will filter all single test execution reports (STR) that failed due to application crash automatic failure reason.
- Clicking on "popup handling" will filter the execution reports to only show failure likely caused by an unexpected popup.
- Same goes for BLOCKED status. in the sample below, you can easily filter out all execution reports which are failed due to install app failure. BLOCKED → INSTALL APP FAILURE.
Note that custom failure reasons which are added by users are equally treated. for more details on how to add custom failure reasons, click here.
