Android device fails to install application after many successful installations and the following error is received:

Get error 'INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE' during application installation.

Uninstalling applications does not help. Rebooting the device may temporarily resolve this issue.

Factory reset the device.

A factory reset is necessary because when we install and uninstall applications on our automatic tests - Android assigns a UID number to each application.

The numbers are between 10000 to 19999. Android does not releasing the numbers when we uninstall an app which is the bug. After 9999 installations (and removals) - there are no more numbers to allocate and the next application fails to install.

Another issue is that there are extra folders left behind. To solve these issues, a device factory reset must take place.
